Welcome to Romeo Bouviers.  Our home is located on nearly 2 acres just outside the village of Romeo, MI.  We have always had pets in our familiy, dogs such as labs, yorkies and poodles, but our favorite of course, is the large Bouvier des Flandres.  The Bouvier is a herding breed that originated in the farming areas of Belgium.  This is a strong, intelligent dog that weighs an average of 70-110 lbs and stands 25-26 inches tall at the shoulders. Bouviers have long tousled coats that require grooming.  Our children and grandchildren have grown up with bouviers. Our first bouvier, Max, then Romeo and now Guliette. We are always busy with our Bouviers, whether going to training classes, the dog groomer, dog shows or camping with the family.  .  We named our Kennel after our dog, Romeo.  He loved to be with kids, pulling them on the sled in winter and swimming with them in the pool all summer.  The newiest member of our family is K-Jan’s Guliette or Jenna as we call her.  We will continue to build our kennel with quality dogs and well planned litters from parents who pass health tests such as OFA, CERF, and cardiac exams.
